I just love the way the Holy Spirit continues to lead Partners! Our new ministry to women seeking guidance and support at Crisis Pregnancy Centers and Project Rachel post-abortive programs is well underway.
Since Lent 2010, Partners has been sending The Word Among Us magazine in both English and Spanish to these sisters in need. And in the August issue of the magazine, we will be inviting our readers to support this new ministry with prayer and financial donations. The annual Partners’ insert in the September issue also featured this new ministry. We want everyone to know and to pray for these women, who are so in need of our love and support.
The Lord continues to confirm the importance of this new ministry. Here are two letters of thanks that we have received:

We will share this incredible resource in our waiting areas to those that may want to review it. Even more important, our staff is so grateful for their own copy of the resource. Partners is also sending these organizations the booklet After Abortion: God Offers Forgiveness, Healing, and Hope. This booklet, originally written for women in prison, has now been edited for any woman who has had an abortion. It is also available in Spanish. The Project Rachel office for the Arlington diocese ordered five thousand copies and sent them to each of their parishes during Lent! Marianne at the Boston Diocesan office said, “This booklet is exactly what the women who go to the Project Rachel retreats are looking for when they leave us as a way to continue to experience the love of Christ. And possibly we will use the booklet as part of their ongoing post-retreat support group.”
